This project was heavily based on research. I was directed to design a booklet on a Designer exactly how he would design. David Carson is a spontaneous, rule breaking, not always legible type of designer. This was quite the challenge to find a happy medium between chaotic and expressive yet still organized for the reader. This was a definite turn in my design career for it pushed me completely out of my comfort zone and pushed me to explore all the opportunities type can give you.
